We begin with unguided silent meditation and end with friendly check-in time where participants can share what’s been up with them.
We follow the Quaker form of meditation. For those new to the practice, group meditation is often experienced as less difficult than meditating alone. We’re happy to talk to newcomers about ways to engage with the silence and relax into gentle calmness.
We meet in a lovely park and sit the shade of a circle of oak trees. Please bring an outdoor chair or blanket to sit on. Shared snacks are welcome but by no means required. Bringing water is a good idea but also not at all required.
